Jim and Jean Wilson

To whom ever is interested in reading this. Jeannie being born in 1942 and myself being born in 1939 met one night at Cedar Point which is a large amusement park. I had just gotten out of the Army a year earlier and had a job working at the local Ford plant here in Sandusky. I had joined the Army Reserves to fulfill my obligation to my country. She was working at one of the hospitals in Sandusky. She had a girlfriend with her and I had my buddy that hired into the Ford plant the same time I did. Jeannie and I paired off and my friend and hers did the same. But I thank the Lord everyday that he had a plan and only he could see the future and put things in order. So much for that.

That was in July of 1965 and in two weeks I asked her to marry me. When I ask her she said I guess so and it happened we got an apartment, and settled in for the rest of our lives because that is why I married her.

I slaved away at work every day and I kept her at home barefooted and pregnant. We had two children in the apartment and had to buy a home in 1968. Then in a couple of years we had the third child. I guess we liked the house because we have been here for 40 years.

After 17 years working for Ford I was loseing my eyesight and had to quit work. So here I am home with nothing to do. Guess what Jeannie had other plans. I obeyed like I should have and we lived happy forever after . Do you believe that?

Sitting around the house with nothing to do I got into cb. I had friend that I worked with and my Dad had friends so we got a band together and played for all the nurseing homes in the county. We enjoyed all that we put into pleasing all the people that we met at the homes.

Jeannie was always the girl to go to church. It was her that got the family on the straight and narrow. The kids went to the christian schools. She always sang in church and she got me to do that a few times. So in the nineties we got interested in making gospel music. We got the tracks and with my music equipment I figured out a way to record our music.

A lot of the music you hear me sing was made in the mid nineties. They were on cassettes. After getting on the blind chat sights I met a fellow that I will always be grateful for making his aquaintance. This person is John Harris and he saved all our music and restored them to almost perfect condition. Jeannie and I thank him a million times. Now we have the ability to record our music on my computer with Gold Wave. Guess what John taught me how to do that also. I think he is a real pal and friend. I am writing this webb page so John can host it for me at www.johnanddena.com, and you will be able to listen to all of our music. So after reading this if our music is any good thank John for Jeannie and Jim's music.

Our Grandson Chris Wilson

Our grandson, Chris Wilson who is a member of out of sight, also has some music to listen too. He is going on 19 and has R P that he inherited from me. He loves to sing and is learning from me and my wife. he likes all music as you can tell. I hope eventually he grows into a great singer. But if he doesn't he still likes to sing and is proud when he sings On Stage for Lyn at out-of-sight.net. He also appreciates the comments from the members.
